HARMAN Luxury Update

After two years of development and thorough testing of the products, the HARMAN Luxury Audio Group is pleased to share that all models of the ARCAM Radia AV products are starting to arrive in regional warehouses and will be shipping to our customers after we do our zero day software update.

A labor of love for our Cambridge engineering team, the Radia home cinema products are comprised of three Audio Video Amplifiers (AVA): the AVA15, AVA25, and AVA35, alongside the AVP45 16-channel processor.

First introduced at ISE in February, these new products are going to impress movie enthusiasts of all ages and offers features that will leave our competition envious. Features including Dirac Live Room Correction which could be upgraded to Dirac Live Bass Control or Dirac Active Rook Treatment (ART).

Partnering with Monokoto, a design house in London England, we have drastically improved the user experience over the previous HDA products. Designed with a 6 ½” high resolution color display enables users to see album art and other meta data from a distance. For those who prefer to set up their AVA products through their larger video monitors or projector, we offer a very intuitive On Screen Display (OSD) that mirrors the set-up of the front display.

The flagship of the AVA range, the AVA35 pairs true high-end 2-channel stereo audiophile performance with immersive 16-channel cinematic processing. It features nine discrete channels of 100 watt ARCAM’s signature Class G amplification. Our unique technology runs pure Class A for the first fraction of the AVA35’s power and switches to a secondary power supply to handle demanding dynamic peaks without the inefficiency of pure Class A amps. It utilizes high-performance ESS Hyperstream IV DAC Pro, digital to analog convertors, which we also feature in our flagship SA45 streaming hi-fi amplifier.

As I mentioned earlier, we have spent months testing and verifying the performance of the hardware and softwa.re and thanks to our beta testing partners across the globe we are confident that these products will be our best AV products with the possibility to keep improving the software over the life of the product through over the air (OTA) pushes if the product is connected to the internet.
