Audio Prime began with Founder and CEO Francisco Marengo as a one-man operation, personally installing sound systems himself, driven by relentless technical curiosity and a refusal to walk away from a challenge. That approach built a reputation for Audio Prime as a company that offers complete solutions, understood audio projects, executed them with precision, and delivered beyond what was promised, even after the job was done.

The company grew organically from there. In 2016, Audio Prime launched its e-commerce platform, carrying that same specialized and consultative approach to clients nationwide. Another turning point was the decision to educate: the YouTube channel, now past 100k subscribers, made Audio Prime a nationally recognized name among audio enthusiasts and built a community that finally found information it could trust.

In 2018, that mindset became Audio Prime Academy, turning years of field knowledge into professional online training that qualifies installers across the industry. A few years later, the B2B distribution arm launched, completing the supply chain for integrators from Brazil's North to its South, making Audio Prime the country's sole Harman distributor.

Today, Audio Prime is Brazil's largest home theater and sound system portal of Brazil. Audio Prime is headquartered in Blumenau, Santa Catarina - Brazil, with distribution centers in Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais, enabling fast and nationwide delivery across the country.

How many people are on the Audio Prime Group team?
Audio Prime currently has 33 professionals who make up an experienced team across sales, engineering, operations, marketing, logistics, and field services. The average tenure is six years, a sign of a strong internal culture and people who choose to build their careers here. Many of our technicians were trained internally from the ground up, evidence of how much we believe in creating opportunities.

Thoughts on the importance of training?

Training is at the core of what Audio Prime does, not just internally but as a service to the industry. We hold technical training sessions every 45 days for our own team, keeping everyone up to date on the latest products, systems, and installation practices. But we've also built Audio Prime Academy precisely because we believe that a better-trained market is a better market for everyone. When installers and integrators know how to specify, install, and configure a system correctly, the end customer wins, and so does the entire ecosystem. Beyond selling audio products, we also prepare audio professionals for the market.

How do you think the luxury audio industry is currently doing?

The numbers tell a compelling story. The Brazilian audio market was valued at R$ 3 billion in 2024 and is growing at a CAGR of 8–12 percent, four to six times faster than Brazil's GDP. That's not a niche trend, but a structural growth, driven by the digitalization of everyday life, the expansion of home entertainment, and a Brazilian consumer who is increasingly demanding when it comes to the quality of their spaces. At the same time, the market rewards those who earn it. Informed consumers don't want generic recommendations, they want expertise, curation, and a partner who will stand behind the solution. That is exactly what Audio Prime has been doing for nearly two decades. And we believe we're just getting started.

Audio Prime is not an e-commerce store or a distribution operation. We're an ecosystem.

In under two decades, we've grown from a one-man installation company into Brazil's leading online destination for ambient sound and home theater, across B2C retail, B2B distribution, installation services, and education. We've grown six to nine times faster than the audio market itself in the last five years, not by chasing volume, but by building the right infrastructure: a team with deep technical roots, a content engine that educates the market, and an integrated model where each business unit strengthens the others.

What drives us is purpose. Our founder and CEO Francisco Marengo built this company from the ground up, on the belief that audio can genuinely change people's lives. That the living room with a great system creates more moments together. That the installer who learns their craft properly changes their own trajectory.
