The JBL 4369 isn’t just another speaker, it’s the flagship of the Studio Monitor series, building on the success of the acclaimed 4367. What started as an evolution became a revolution, redefining what a studio monitor can deliver in a home environment. This model represents JBL’s heritage of professional accuracy combined with luxury craftsmanship, designed for customers who demand reference-level performance and emotional impact.

JBL Heritage

For over 80 years, JBL has shaped the sound of music in legendary studios and live venues. In the 1970s, engineers began bringing JBL monitors home, sparking a movement that inspired today’s Studio Monitor series, speakers with professional DNA, built for exceptional home audio. The 4369 continues this tradition with retro-modern styling and studio-grade sound that’s focused, accurate, and dynamic.

Core Technologies

  • 15-inch Woofer (Model 2219Nd) with Dual 3" Voice Coils
A ground-up redesign of JBL’s patented Differential Drive motor system delivers deeper, more accurate bass and articulate midrange. High excursion and a neodymium motor structure in a cast aluminum frame ensure low distortion, even at high volumes. This is the foundation for the effortless dynamics only a large woofer in a substantial cabinet can provide.

  • D2830B Compression Driver with Sonoglass HDI™ Waveguide
This advanced driver uses dual diaphragms and dual voice coils, providing the radiating area of a single 3-inch driver but with greater output and control. The design minimizes distortion and improves power handling, delivering exceptional clarity even at high SPLs. Paired with JBL’s patented HDI horn, the system produces lifelike highs, smooth off-axis response, and a wide, stable soundstage, hallmarks of JBL’s professional heritage.
  • MultiCap™ Crossover Network
JBL’s premium crossover design uses multiple small-value capacitors wired in parallel at each location—58 capacitors in total across woofer and HF sections. This approach lowers resistance and distortion compared to single large capacitors, preserving microdynamics and transparency. No bias resistors or bias current are used, ensuring pure signal integrity.
