It has been almost three years since we first introduced the new industrial design language and the new customer archetypes that we wanted to appeal to with the new ARCAM Radia Hi-Fi products. With the bold lines and yellow accents, Radia has become more than a design language. It has given birth to a bold new attitude within our BU and industry.

Earlier this month we launched twelve new ARCAM Radia products at ISE. It was no surprise to anyone that we carried the design and attitude change into our premium home cinema line up with the addition of the new AVA15, AVA25, and AVA35 audio video amplifiers with big LED front displays showing off our new intuitive user interface and album art when streaming. We also introduced our new AVP45 16-channel audio video processor and two new multi-channel amplifiers to round out the Radia home cinema line-up.

What was a surprise to many at the ISE show was the introduction of the new Radia line of loudspeakers. Designed by our amazing industrial designer Jason Gokavi and acoustically engineered and refined by the team at our Center of Acoustics Excellence in Northridge, the Radia loudspeakers were enthusiastically welcomed by our distributors, dealers, and the industry press.

Loudspeakers are not something new from ARCAM, we first introduced the first loudspeaker, the ARCAM 2 which later became Delta 2 back in 1985. This 2 way stand mount loudspeaker was known for its smooth and refined sound and were designed for bi-wiring. Our next loudspeaker was the ARCAM Muso and its companion subwoofer the Logo introduced in 2007. The Muso was designed to complement the immensely popular Solo Music and Solo Movie at the time. Here is a vintage YouTube video that takes us back to the day the Muso was on the shelves of hi-fi dealers across the globe.

Fun Fact:  The Muso was the first ARCAM loudspeaker to ever attain the coveted WHAT*HIFI? 5 star review!
