Happy New Year! This year promises to be one of celebration across the many iconic audio brands sitting under the HARMAN portfolio. It all kicks off this month as we celebrate 80 Years of JBL’s Signature Sound contributions to the music and movie industry by our founder James. B. Lansing.
To commemorate this milestone, we are offering a special edition of our most recognizable and best-selling loudspeaker, the L100 Classic, finished in a beautiful California Oak wood veneer finish and packaged with a pair of JS-150 stands and a certificate of authenticity all inside a wooden crate. With a limited production of only 800 pairs globally, the L100 Classic 80 will also feature a vintage brown color quadrex speaker grille which pays tribute to the original L100 Century from the 1970’s.

The L100 Classic 80 will be center stage at our 80 Years of JBL product tour. The product tour will allow audio enthusiasts from around the world to get up close and personal with some of most legendary loudspeakers ever made. From the original JBL Project Series loudspeakers like the Hartsfield and Paragon, to the recently launched Summit Series, this tour will be one of the anchors of the High-End Vienna show in June. The show will also showcase many other special loudspeakers to help us remember our 80 Year history.
Next month we will be kicking off the celebration of ARCAM’s 50 Years of Brilliant Sound at ISE in Barcelona. With twelve new Radia products being announced and prominently on display, we will start the party early in the year and follow it up once again at the High-End Vienna show with two flagship products. In March, we will be celebrating 30 years of Revel. With an announcement coming early in the month we plan to launch our latest loudspeakers from the brand. Our marketing team has been updating the website and assets to complement our new products and to document our history including our automotive partnership with Lincoln. We hope you can Revel in the Moment as we celebrate our 30 years together!
I would be remiss if I didn’t also mention that Bowers & Wilkins is celebrating their 60th Anniversary in 2026. I will defer to our Sound United business unit to share more about how they plan to commemorate B&W this year.
As I stated in the beginning, we are very excited to be a part of our brands’ significant milestones. However, we recognize that it would not have been possible without the partnership of our distributors, dealers, and buying groups who have been with us all the way.
