The origin story of Liaison Technology Group starts with Founder Steve Weber, who was employed in the medical field and built a house in Colorado. A system integration company added an automation system that couldn’t ever be finished to work 100%.  In four years, Steve started Liaison to fill a hole in the industry install with a company that would complete a system 100% and provide correct service to clients and provide simple, reliable systems that WOW their customers. After 12 years, they now have nine location including Denver, Chicago, Decatur, Nashville, Tampa, Ft Myers, Naples and Northport Florida, and 64 full time employees.

Thoughts on the importance of training? 

Training very important, and time is allocated weekly for training. We have  technical training every week for one hour. We believe a key performance indicator is training and certification. One example of this is that Liaison is putting in a lighting installation training location, with hands-on training, in order to create the experience installing lighting system. This facility will be located in our Ft Myers, Florida location.

What do you like most about HARMAN Luxury Audio products and which lines do you feature? 

The products all have great sound performance, the team at HARMAN has great ability to educate the dealer,  and JBL has the ability to scale system offerings to the  space and the budget that the client has. We are very impressed with Northridge CA.

How do you think the luxury audio industry is currently doing?

For us, the luxury end of the market is doing fine. We naturally gravitate to that end of the market anyway, so our business is doing really good and 2026 looks to be another great year for Liaison.

What is Liaison's mission?  To deliver simple and reliable systems to clients and to WOW them. Simple and reliable is the key. Finish every job 100%. Liaison delivers what they promise.
