Welcome, fellow audiophiles! Whether your journey is just beginning or you are a seasoned veteran, HARMAN University and the HARMAN Luxury Audio Team always have something for you to “up your game.” Today, we’ve got several “hot off the presses” training modules, an upcoming JBL Synthesis Webinar bonanza, and a stealthy spectrum of training incentive techniques to share.
Oh and by the way, I have it on good authority from a neutral party that the JBL Synthesis Theater was the best sounding theater at CEDIA 2025. I’m just saying! Shout out to our JBL Synthesis team for continuing to spread smiles with earth-shaking performances. Now, back to our regularly scheduled program.
Ideation on Incentive Programs
There are so many good reasons to take all the latest courses on HARMAN University. Let’s check out a few action-packed case studies that resulted in win-win situations.
Case Study A: Business was slow, so one partner contacted their local HARMAN Sales Team to create an incentive program for their team. The team is now feeling more engaged and more prepared to approach customers on the floor.
Case Study B: The HARMAN Sales Team approaches a dealer and proposes the following: “If your team members all take this list of courses, we can include a ‘bonus’ on the sales margin.” For 2025, this dealer has managed double digit year-over-year sales growth of HARMAN Luxury products.
Case Study C: The local HARMAN Sales Team says “Hey, if your sales team completes the following list of courses on HARMAN University, we will give each team member some cool gear. The result: happy team members who, within one quarter, nearly doubled their sales of JBL Stage 2 speakers and more than doubled their sales of MA Series AVRs! Plus, the overall sales and market-share of the dealer increased as well.
The bottom line is that we want you, our partner, to feel empowered. This is why we created HARMAN University in the first place! Investing in education is a great way to increase sales, and an incentive program is great motivation (and great fun). It could be a contest where the winner gets bragging rights, gear, a bonus, first priority on the good snacks…get creative! And make sure to reach out to your HARMAN Sales Rep to discuss if there’s something we can do to help motivate the team. We all win together.
JBL Synthesis Webinar Series
Reminder: Save the date(s) for one hour sessions of JBL Synthesis educational empowerment:
Friday, October 3rd at 9am PST/12pm EST, we’ll be kicking off the Synthesis Webinar Series hosted by Jesse Coyer, Dan Jones and Cory Robertson! First up is JBL Synthesis Processors & SMA Amplifiers.
There will be three more sessions to follow on the first Friday of each month:
- November: JBL Synthesis SCL Loudspeakers
- December: JBL Synthesis SSW Subwoofers
- Early 2026: Calibration using Dirac Live and Optimizer
