We recently caught up with Mr. Min Zeng, General Manager, of the HARMAN Flagship Store located in Shanghai.
How long have you been in business?
Shanghai Yingyin Technolgoy Co., Ltd, was in business with HARMAN (China) since 2024. Then, it has been working in Customer Installation / Commercial Project (Audio & Video) industries for more than 15 years, like Sharp/NEC Commercial Display Distributor in Eastern China since 2012.
How many locations do you have?
Totally, there are two offices and one store in China. One office in SuZhou, is for B2B projects. One office and the HARMAN Flagship store in Shanghai aims to focus on channel distribution and retail operation.
How did Shanghai Yingyin get its start?
With past 15 years commercial project experience, HARMAN was always admired by the industry, in terms of brand and product. It is a great honor for us to be a tier-1 dealer to build up HARMAN Luxury Audio – Flagship store in Shanghai. Considering our resources in the residential and commercial integration industry, HARMAN Flagship Store would help us to build up an important company image and serves as an important showcase into the future.

How many people are on the Shanghai Yingyin team?
Totally, 22 employees were working in Suzhou and Shanghai. In the HARMAN Store, totally 7 people, including Retail Operation and e-Commerce Streaming.
Thoughts on the importance of training?
The luxury audio industry has very high requirements for professional knowledge. Product training is essential to improve the expertise of sales. This expertise provides professional services when recommending products to customers, helping them create the most suitable solutions. It's important to explain the advantages and features of HARMAN products to customers in detail. This greatly improves customer satisfaction.
What do you like most about Harman Luxury Audio products and which lines do you feature?
HARMAN Luxury Audio products have been leading the way in market innovation, and the Classic Studio Monitor series are very popular in the Chinese market. The newly launched SUMMIT series will once again lead the development of the high-end audio market.
We stock the JBL Synthesis, the Project Series, the Studio Monitor Series, the Classic Series, the Stage Series, the MA Series, as well as a selected range from Revel, ARCAM and Mark Levinson.

How do you think the luxury audio industry is currently doing?
At present, China's consumption level is gradually upgrading, people's ability to appreciate music has significantly improved, and the demand for luxury audio is also growing.
What is your mission?
Provide high-end audio customers in Shanghai and even East China with a full range of product experience, and provide the most suitable product solutions for various types of customers

Our store is divided into several areas, and the audio-visual room is equipped with the JBL Synthesis cinema system and Kara OK entertainment system. The Ball Room displays the Project Series and Mark Levinson, as well as the Revel and Stage collections. The Studio Monitor Series and the Classic Series are presented in a dedicated area. At the same time, HARMAN Home products such as soundbars, portables, headphones and partybox are also specially displayed.
