The Visual Grand Prix (VGP) Awards are held by Ongen Publishing Co., ltd., one of the most prominent publishing companies in Japan with an expertise in audio/visual related devices and state-of-art technologies. Top manufacturers are given the opportunity to present their products to the judges.  The awards are categorized into Visual Grand Prix (VGP) and Audio Excellence (AEx) and typically have three levels of award including bronze, silver and gold, plus additional “special awards”.  This year the JBL MA & Stage 2 Series of products won several special awards:
