HARMAN Explore 2024 Recap

Image

The Luxury Audio Group had a tremendous turnout for our HARMAN Explore 2024 event held January 8-11 at the Virgin Hotel and Convention Center in Las Vegas, coinciding with the CES Show. There were a variety of products on display including the JBL Studio Monitors and Classic Series, along with the new ARCAM Radia Series.

Our HARMAN Explore 2024 review showed that we had over 800,000 media impressions, with 10 dedicated media articles to date from the 14 scheduled media interviews we conducted. Key consumer media participation was from the likes of BNN Breaking, CNN, Popular Science, TechHive, Tech Radar and Yahoo. Key home theater and trade media included audioXpress, AVS Forum, eCoustics, Home Theater Review, Residential Systems, Sound&Vision and many more. Here are just a few of the comments from a few of the media who attended the event:

AVS Forum

The highlight for us was the new ARCAM Radia line, especially the flagship A25 integrated amplifier. Paired with the ST5 streamer and CD5 CD player, the system connected to the JBL L82 Black Edition speakers delivered a fantastic experience. The A25 is a class G amplifier with 100 watts per channel and has USB-C connectivity and two-way Bluetooth capability, the latter which allows simultaneous listening to a source and output on headphones. The ST5 streamer is compatible with the ARCAM app, AirPlay, and also a Roon player. From Dua Lipa to Chris Stapleton, the system reproduced a range of music with a clean, rich sound that left us thoroughly impressed. In fact, the ARCAM Radia line was so remarkable that we awarded it the AVS Best of CES 2024.

Jim Garrett, Senior Director of Product Strategy and Planning for HARMAN’s Luxury Audio Group, presents products and recent updates from JBL and ARCAM at the company’s CES booth. Highlights include ARCAM’s new Radia series of audio electronics and JBL’s Spinner BT Bluetooth turntable plus a limited-edition black-gloss version of the L75ms all-in-one music system, and the latest models in JBL’s Classic Series, including the SA550 integrated amp and a new MkII edition of the iconic L100 speaker from the ‘70s.

Additionally, we received four awards at our event, including a CES Innovation Award for the ARCAM Radia A25 Integrated Amplifier, the AVS Forum Best of Show award for the Radia Series, Sound&Vision’s CES Editor’s Pick for both the ARCAM A25 and the JBL L42ms.
