How long have you been in business?
We have been in the business for 75 years. It started with our grandfather, then my father, and we are the third generation of the company. Under our management for 33 years. My two sisters and I have been running the company for 27 years, which has traditionally specialized in the sale and installation of high-performance audio, video and automation equipment.
How many locations do you have?
We have one showroom in Sao Paulo.
How did Duartes A/V get its start?
We started under the company name Raul Duarte when managed by my grandfather and father. It started with the sale of audio equipment, vinyl records and radios.
How many people are on the Duartes A/V team?
We currently have a team of six people.
Thoughts on the importance of training?
Training is very important for knowing what we can offer our customers.
What do you like most about HARMAN Luxury Audio products and which lines do you feature?
We work with and we really like the Revel and the JBL line with classic products like the L-100 and the subwoofers.
How do you think the luxury audio industry is currently doing?
The luxury audio market is growing again. We realize many people are concerned about having high performance to listen to their music.

Duartes A/V’s mission is to provide the best product according to the customer’s needs, and also provide an exceptional service experience to our customer.

Over 75 years, a lot has changed - technology has taken different directions but our job of bringing quality music to people's homes is still the same. And it is also a lot of fun for these consumers.
