The HARMAN Luxury Audio Group is proud to have some of the best high-end consumer electronics partners across the globe. Each month, we have the pleasure of learning a little bit more about one of our dealers or distributors. This time we're featuring Centurion LV, which was founded by Michael Pyle in Draper, Utah and serves states throughout the west.
How long have you been in business?
I started Centurion LV seven years ago after having been in the residential AV business for 26+ years. It gives me great pride to have built a successful business doing what I enjoy and also providing a simple to use, high-quality, home system experience to our customers.
How many locations do you have?
We have one location in Draper, Utah, but we do home theater installations all over the Western states.
How did Centurion LV get its start?
I was working for a company called VIA when the company went out of business. It was at that point that I decided to start my own company with Centurion LV so that I could control the process of creating and installing residential home theater systems.
How many people are on the Centurion LV team?
We have a team of six dedicated and hardworking individuals with a willingness to make sure each system is top notch. Included in our team is my son Connor, who specializes in design and programming integration as well as physical installation.
Thoughts on the importance of training?
Training is an important part of how we stay current on the latest products and technology. We believe that practical training, not just product training offers the most valuable information to our team.
What do you like most about HARMAN Luxury Audio products and which lines do you feature?
We use all HARMAN Luxury products across JBL Synthesis, Revel, Arcam, Mark Levinson and Lexicon brands. We continue to use HARMAN products in our systems because we can always rely on great performance and good value.
How do you think the luxury audio industry is currently doing?
Manufactures keep coming up with cheaper products, but they are not necessarily better. It seems that the average price of luxury speakers has gone way down. In my opinion, some of the new products are doing the same job for less money. I believe we need higher end modern products integrated into these home systems that do a better job for more money. When it comes to luxury systems, people want quality, and are not afraid to pay for it.
What is Centurion LV's mission?
The Centurion LV team brings life to your home by focusing on large-scale, high-end residential systems. From home theaters, pro lighting, lighting control, electric shades, enterprise level networks, surveillance and security, home control systems, to stunning video walls, CLV makes your home systems easy to understand, maintain and enjoy. Our goal is to create systems that our customers love because they are reliable and easy to maintain.
