The Harman Luxury Audio Group is proud to have some of the best high-end consumer electronics partners across the globe. Each month, we have the pleasure of learning a little bit more about one of our dealers or distributors. This time we spoke with Soon Ong of Singapore-based Clarity, which also has offices in New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and Malaysia. Here's an overview of the company in Soon's own words.
With a heritage that dates back to 1929, Clarity is a fully-featured outfit with businesses spanning across the different disciplines. Starting as a two-channel outfit, we quickly found that there is a lot more that we can offer our clients. We expanded our expertise into becoming go-to for clients building mega-homes in Singapore and around the region.
Today, Clarity offers the full range of products and services whether it is two-channel, private cinemas, theater systems, automation or residential-related technologies; all of which bears a symbiotic relationship with one another.
Clarity has been a distributor for Lexicon since 1988, Mark Levinson since 1990 and Revel since its inception in 1995. We were appointed by Sandy Berlin as the first international distributor for Revel.
In our automation and audio distribution projects, we utilize Revel and Lexicon at the forefront of our design. Revel’s architectural range gives us all the tools we need to specify speakers into the most challenging of spaces. Whether it is tight spaces (LP series) or those seeking the best possible architectural speakers (W990), we find there is something in the Revel range for every project. Especially with Lexicon’s DD8+, the possibilities are endless.
Mark Levinson stands today as the top brand for two-channel, where our customers are seeking for nothing less than the best. Most of the Clarity sales and support team have been around since our early days with the brands, so they possess a great historical knowledge on product, the brand story as well as technical expertise, having been intimately familiar with the equipment over the years.
Almost 30 years on, Mark Levinson, Lexicon and Revel remain the driving force of Clarity!
